Thank you Sunsine and Rainbows

Hi there!

Today, I wanted to share with you the second pillow /thank you gift I made for my team leader and my room mate.  I used a really awesome bundle that is retiring, although didn't know it at the time.   I am SO glad I used it and will have to get a few more projects in before it goes away for good.  Can you guess which one?

It is also fits with this week's theme over at Global Design Project!

It's the Sunshine and Rainbows Bundle!!  I made a large matchbook style holder for the fun treat inside and used the bundle to create this really cute picture for the cover.  The base is Marina Mist, the rainbow colours are Real Red, Tangerine Tango , Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizazz, Marina Mist, Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.  The greeting is from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, which is also retiring.  Eek!

And here is the treat inside....rainbow Ice flavoured gum!  Truly, I am not sure how it tastes, but the packaging was prefect for the Sunshine and Rainbow Bundle.  :)

I am going to love having this Bundle in my collection.  Perfect for all types of cards, scrapbook pages and 3D projects.  And, a great way to forget about the late winter storms happening here in southern Ontario.

If you love this bundle, you will want to order it before May 25, after that any stampsets are not guaranteed.  Most retiring items are available while supplies last.

Visit my on-line store here and don't forget to check out the Clearance Rack while you are there.

Sieze the Birthday with Colourful Seasons

Hello there,

Happy Monday.  I hope you had a great weekend.  I had an awesome one!  I spent the weekend with my besties scrapbooking!!!!  I will have some pages to share with you in the coming weeks.  I needed that rejuvenation.

I have a great card to start off the week. It is one that I made as a part of my Seasonal Bundle card class.  Anyone who purchased the bundle, got the class for free AND they got a free sale-a-bration item AND I gave them a little token of my appreciation.  What the Seasonal Layers Bundle before it isn't a bundle on June 1st?  Order from me and get the make n takes free!

I also wanted to submit my card for the Seize the Birthday challenge this week.  Here is their challenge...

Our "Toppings" option this time is...
"Vibrant Colors"

Who doesn't need birthday cards in their stash.   This has to be the type of card I give out the most.  Here is my card...

I love this orange and this sling back chair!  Perfect for beach weather, which I hope we can count on soon.   I wanted to combine the beach chair with some bold stripes.  They remind me of the vintage beach huts from the old movies.

I chose a greeting from the stampset that could be used for a birthday.  I love the layers and bright colours.

Be sure to stop by Seize the Birthday and see all of the birthday cards that have been submitted.

Thank you and Pillow Gifts

Hey there,

Glad you stopped by.  I have one of my 3-d pillow thank you gifts I gave to my leader as well as my roommate from On-stage.

I made these cute little Hand Sanitizer Holders using the Apron of Love Bundle!  I mean, who can't use some Sand Sanitizer, right? And the ones from Bath and Body Works are perfect for having in your purse.

I put a different saying on each apron.  This one is for my friend who introduced me to Stampin'UP!  It has brought so many wonderful new people to my life.  Can't thank her enough!

And this one is for my room mate, whom I had never met until On-Stage this year!  It was great fun to meet her and share what we love.  She loved the scent of hand sanitizer I chose for her.  :)

Of course I had to add those super cute little scissors from the thinlits for this bundle!  The hearts and the teeny tiny pocket too!

If you love this bundle, you will want to get it while it is still a bundle!!  After May 30th, they will only be sold separately and you won't be able to save 10%.

Click here for my on-line store to order yours.  Hostess code for this month is  V9QBDMHC.

I also had a message this morning that more awesome products were added to the Clearance Rack.

Coper Leaf with Freshly Made Sketches

Hello there,

thanks for stopping by today.  I have a simple but beautiful card to share with you today.  I have been using my favourite bundle, Colourful Seasons, to create an entire card class focused it.  If you love this bunlde, you should get it before April 30th, when it will not longer be offered as a bundle and saving you 10%!

Here is my first card of my tailored card class....

Here is the sketch I used to help create this card.  Freshly Made Sketches had a wonderful sketch to follow this week.

Here is a close up of the beautiful copper leaf that is the focus of my card.  I just love this leaf and it looks so pretty in copper.  I added some copper thread behind the layers that frame the leaf.

I added a strip of the woodgrain dsp.  I love it.  I purposefully left this card without a greeting.  It would be great for a masculine card for any occasion.

Be sure to stop by all this week to see all 6 of the cards I created for this specialty card class.

My OnStage Adventure!

header_OnStage2016_demo_ENG

Hello everyone!

I am bursting with excitement today to share with you my weekend adventures!   I attended my fairly local (3 hours away) OnStage event through Stampin'UP!

I had SO much fun seeing old friends and making new ones who share the same passion as I do.....creating and sharing what we love.

These events that StampinUP! has for demonstrators is just unbelievable - like over the top.  We created 4 cards, all with brand new exciting products, we celebrated some amazing achievements of people in attendance and we received some very helpful business training. The most exciting was we got our hands on the brand new Annual Catalogue!!!

There are things I still can't share with you about the day - like the inside of the catalogue, but today I will share what I can.  Ready?

My first picture is all the goodis I received at the beginning of the day!!!  Can you believe it?  The planner book is from Stampin'UP along with a wonderful reversible bag - that I didn't get a picture of and our first stampset!!  The items on the right are my pillow gifts that I received from my roommate.  I will show a close up of that in an upcoming post - it is beautiful.  The items on the left are from my amazingly talented and creative upline.

Here is a large group shot of 500 demonstrators all sharing what we love.

A couple close ups of my friends at our table about to create or first make 'n take.

I wanted to get a close up of our beautiful hats that my upline made for all of us.   Yes, you read that right made.  They were so much fun!  We received compliments all day long on on them.

Here is our display board of the upcoming in-colours.  They remind me of the colours you find in a Starburst package - I feel a 3-d item will be in order when I get my hands on the.  Love them!

I had to get a picture of embellishments display board.  Loving the coordinating DSP and ribbon!

I couldn't resist a close up of the new embossing folder that will be coming out!!  Can't wait to get my hands on this one.  I can see baby cards, wedding cards and so much more with this folder.

Lots of fun kits in the new catalogue as well.  Here is the new planner that will be coming out.  Love the colours!!

So many exciting new products coming our way.  But don't forget to snatch up the last chance items before they are gone.  I will be purchasing all of the bundles on my wish list that I haven't yet gotten before the bundle discount goes away.

Be sure to stop by again where I will share the gifts I made for my upline and roommate.  Can't wait for you to see them.

Get them while they are hot!

Hello everyone!

I have just returned from On-stage where I was able to preview new products from the upcoming catalogue!  I also was one of the first to receive the new catalogue, well me and any other demonstrator that attended the On-stage conventions happening all over the world!  lol  It was a ton of fun and it was great to be pampered for a day - they do truly spoil us!  I will share my gifts in an upcoming post.  But first, I don't want you to miss anything that you might have your heart set on from your wishlist, SO, I want to share with you the changes that I learned at On-stage.

With a new catalogue, means some products are leaving.  You can see all of retiring items in a few different ways.  You can visit my on-line store here.  This link will take you directly to the retiring products.  If there is something that is on your wishlist, you should know that all items are while supplies last with the exception of stampsets.  eek!

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT RETIRING PRODUCTS!

  • There is no minimum purchase required.
  • All retiring items are only available while supplies last and will be discontinued after May 31.
  • Retiring host sets can only be purchased using Stampin’ Rewards from a qualifying order of $200 or more (total before shipping and tax).
  • Depending on inventory, discounts on select products may be introduced on or after May 8.
    • These discounts will not be pre-announced.
    • If you purchase a product at retail price and then it is later discounted, Stampin’ Up! will not refund the difference.
    • If there is a product you want, it is recommended to purchase right away and not wait to see if it’s discounted later or you risk it being sold out.
    • If you start an order before a discount is announced, the order will not include the discounted pricing. If you want to order a product that has been discounted, you will need to start the order after the discounts are announced.
  • Retiring tools & accessories will only be available while supplies last.
  • Retiring stamp sets are guaranteed available until May 25, after which they will only be available while supplies last.
  • Our ink pad design is retiring (including all current pad designs) but not all Stampin’ Up! colors.  Colors that are not retiring will return in the newly designed ink pad (easier to open, stackable, etc.) in the Annual Catalog.

There is also a colour revamp with the upcoming catalogue.  I am sharing this with you now, just in case there is a colour that you love, you may want to purchase the re-inker to go with your inkpad so you can continue to use it long after it has retired. You may notice a couple of previous in-colours returning.  If you recently purchased some ink and paper from my retired stash, you may just be ahead of the game for new colours!  Below is a list of the retiring colours...

Thirteen Stampin’ Up! core collection colors are retiring.
  • Always Artichoke
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Elegant Eggplant
  • Island Indigo
  • Marina Mist
  • Perfect Plum
  • Pink Pirouette
  • Rose Red
  • Soft Sky
  • Tangerine Tango
  • Tempting Turquoise
  • Wild Wasabi
  • Wisteria Wonder
The retiring 2016-2018 In Colors are:
  • Dapper Denim
  • Emerald Envy
  • Flirty Flamingo*
  • Peekaboo Peach
  • Sweet Sugar Plum
*Please note that while Flirty Flamingo is retiring as an In Color, it will continue to be available as part of the Stampin’ Up! core color collection.

Here is a good visual for new colour line up for the upcoming catalgoue.  Maybe there are new colours here that you might like more than some of the retiring colours.  I know I have a few! :)

I have already been asked for a group order.  If you are interested in purchasing something quickly, please go to my online store and place your order.  The hostess code for a group order is V9QBDMHC.  SO, if you are ordering on-line, be sure to use the hostess code and I will be giving away a special item from the hostess rewards.  As always, if you would like me to assist you with your order, just let me know.

Blogging Friends Blog Hop

Hello my friends,
Happy April 1st! It is time for our next Blogging Friends Blog Hop!

This month's theme is C.A.S.E. - copy and share everything - of one of our blogging friend.  As soon as I heard this was our theme, I knew exactly the card I was going to CASE.  It is the second card that Michelle Clarke did for our Red Theme in February.  You can see her card right here.  As soon as I saw it, I just knew I had to make one!  Here is my card...

Oh. MY. Gosh.  I just had to use my Barn Door Bundle to make a red barn door!  I hadn't seen it in red before.  And.  to be honest, I hadn't even used it yet - I know crazy!
Here is what I put behind the sliding door on the right.  So CUTE!
I did use one of the wreaths from the bundle instead of the sign.  I just love square wreaths.

I just love how it turned out!  Thank you Michelle, for the awesome card to CASE!

Please be sure to hop on through to see the other great cards created by my Blogging Friends.

Happy stampin'
